Investing in our PPF-S course means investing in the safety and knowledge of your team. It’s an opportunity to foster a culture of safety within your organisation, especially among those who do not directly work on power protection systems.
Partner with us and empower your workforce with knowledge that not only ensures personal safety but also contributes to a safer and more efficient work environment.
This course is crafted to cater to the needs of IT managers, facilities managers, EHS personnel, industry novices such as apprentices, and professionals transitioning from different sectors.
While it’s an entry-level course, a rudimentary understanding of electricity enhances the learning experience. For those lacking this foundation, a pre-course study pack is readily available to bring them up to speed.
Our experienced instructors bring years of industry experience and knowledge to the table, ensuring that learners receive the best possible training experience.
We are committed to aligning our training programs with industry standards, regulations, and applicable laws, so that our customers can feel confident that they are receiving the most up-to-date and relevant training available.
Our focus on safety is at the core of everything we do. We believe that our training programs can help our customers improve safety in their organisation and reduce the risk of accidents and incidents.
Our course, while theory-based, also provides the opportunity for practical, hands-on experience with diverse power protection equipment at our specialised training facility.
The curriculum is strategically divided into six modules, each focusing on a critical aspect of power protection system safety. This format not only facilitates an in-depth understanding of each topic but also ensures a comprehensive grasp of the subject matter.
1. Understand the principles of power protection systems, including the types of systems and their common applications.
2. Identify the hazards associated with power protection systems and understand how to prevent accidents or injuries.
3. Understand the safety measures that must be taken when working on power protection systems.
4. Understand the training and competency requirements for personnel working with power protection systems.
5. Conduct and follow risk assessments, method statements and work instructions, and understand the importance of effective communication and collaboration to ensure safety in power protection systems.
