Over the course of five days, learners will immerse themselves in the comprehensive 2391-52 theory, gaining a deep understanding of the principles and practices of initial verification and periodic inspection and testing.

On the final day, they will demonstrate their theoretical knowledge by taking an online theory test at our state-of-the-art City & Guilds testing centre.

Following successful completion of the theory component, learners will schedule a practical assessment at their convenience. During this hands-on evaluation, they will inspect and test training boards in our demonstration facility, applying their newly acquired skills in a controlled, real-world environment.

How you’ll be assessed.

Assessment will be conducted through an online theory exam and practical assessment. The theory exam is taken in our City & Guilds testing facility on the final day of the main course. On successful completion of the theory, learners will book a day to complete their practical assessment, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of acquired knowledge and skills.

Successful candidates will gain a City & Guilds digital credential that proves their competency in the Initial Verification & Periodic Inspection and Testing of electrical systems.

How can I prepare for the course?

How long is the exam?

The assessment for this course involves a 2 hour theory exam taken on the final day of the main course, and a subsequent practical assessment that takes place over the course of a day in the following week.
